JoEllen is a kind, caring, and genuinely compassionate soul. I had extreme issues breastfeeding and she was nothing but patient and helpful. Her wealth of knowledge on the subject was extremely impressive. She helped with everything from herbal suggestions to referrals to lactation physicians at Children's where I was able to confirm that I suffered from IGT (as she had suspected from the beginning). With her guidance and support (as well as that of my spouse) I was able to press forward even when I felt like giving up. With their help I was able to continue nursing and pumping constantly until my son was 13 Months. Without her guidance I have no doubt I would have quit after a short time. Thank you JoEllen, you are amazing.

"Were it not for her, I know I wouldn't have made it nursing my youngest."

JoEllen is AWESOME! I had nursed both my older kids, so I thought I knew what I was doing. But were it not for her, I know I wouldn't have made it nursing my youngest. We had thrush, nipple confusion, nursing strikes and a staph infection. JoEllen was able to provide more help and support from half way across the country (I'm in MA) than my OB, pedi, and UC doc. Thanks to her, I'm still happily nursing my soon to be three year old daughter :-)
